FANTASY LINEUPS FAQ
|
Fantasy Lineups is now part of FantasyFootballStarters.com
and you can find answers to questions about their products there. But here are
some potential answers on common questions about the Power Analyzer Fantasy Football
Software provided by FFS:
How do I prepare for
my fantasy football draft?
It's essential to use proven fantasy
football draft strategies at your draft. The two most common are Tiering
and Value Based Drafting. Fantasy football
cheat sheets created from either of these two methods have proven to be of
great help in executing a successful fantasy football draft.
What is a "Draft
Analyzer" and how does it work?
The fantasy
football draft analyzer is a software program that has been designed to
create both a value based draft board and fantasy football tier rankings based
on an algorithm that incorporates forward thinking player projections with
historical player performances. It also takes into account the strength of
schedule and the opponents each player will face each week during the season.
Player injuries and injuries to other players on the same team also have an
impact and get figured into the calculation. The fantasy football rankings provided make it easy to know who to draft.
How does the Lineup
Analyzer work and does it take into account different scoring systems for
different rosters?
Since you input each of your fantasy rosters and their
individual unique scoring systems into the system, the fantasy
football lineup analyzer compares the projected player stats for each
player on your roster and calculates the amount of fantasy points the projected
stats would score for that player based on that. After it has calculated the
projected fantasy points for each player, it then assigns recommended starters
based on these projected fantasy points and the amount of starters you can have
at every position for your team.
How does the Trade
Analyzer work?
One of the essentials to winning in fantasy football is
making the right trades and right free agent acquisitions. By using the fantasy
football trade analyzer you get to see the effect a trade or free agent
pickup would have on your roster in two ways. The first is the impact it would
have on your projected starting lineups each of the remaining weeks of the
season. The second is how it impacts your overall total roster value. Depending
on the effect of these two things to your roster it makes a recommendation on
whether the trade is good or bad for your fantasy team.
How is Fantasy Football
Starters Trade Analyzer different from other trade calculators available?
The Trade Analyzer is
better than a fantasy
football trade calculator, as many trade calculators out there are limited
in their scope. Most of them only analyze the effect a trade will have on your
overall roster value without looking at the impact it makes each week to your
starting lineup. Most also don't have the ability to compare trades involving
different positions (i.e. trading a RB and TE for a QB and WR) and calculate
the effect on your starting lineup each week. Some can't calculate unbalanced
trades (trading 3 players to get 2 players in return for example). Some don't
include the comparison of defensive units. The Trade Analyzer at FFS allows for
every type of trade between positions and shows the effect on both starting
lineup projections and overall total roster value.
What about Player
Alerts? Injuries happen all during the week, in addition to the analyzer
products, does FantasyFootballStarters.com provide injury alerts?
Yes. The analyzer's fantasy
football predictions are often affected by injuries, and FFS offers up fantasy football
player alerts called SMART Alerts. These go out during the season and are
tailored to be specific to your fantasy rosters. If a player on your roster
sustains an injury of note, and you have chosen to subscribe to the SMART
Alerts, you will receive notification. Alerts also go out for players not on
your roster if we believe a player may be available in your league and could be
a great free agent consideration for your roster.
